Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Life On Mission Church, Inc based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of everything—seen and unseen—and is worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He never changes, and remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Revelation
God has made Himself known through Jesus Christ—the visible image of the invisible God—the Holy Scriptures, and the world He created. Through these, we can know who God is and what it means to walk with Him.
Humanity
Every human being is made in the image of God and created for relationship with Him and others. Men and women are deeply loved by God and designed to reflect His character in the world.
The Fall
Though created good, humanity turned away from God. Through sin, we broke our relationship with Him and introduced brokenness into the world. This separation from God is something we cannot fix on our own.
Salvation
God’s response to our brokenness was love. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to bring us new life. Salvation is a gift of grace, not something we earn, and is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In Him, we are forgiven, made new, and restored into relationship with God.
The Church
The Church is not a building—it’s a community of people living on mission with Jesus. As the body of Christ, we are called to love one another, grow as disciples, and share the hope of the gospel in every corner of the world.
Discipleship
We believe following Jesus means becoming more like Him in every area of life. Discipleship is a journey—done in community—not just about knowledge, but transformation. We are called to help others do the same, multiplying the life and mission of Jesus in the world.
Mission
We believe that every follower of Jesus is called to live on mission. This means loving our neighbors, serving our communities, and pointing people to Jesus through our everyday lives. Our church exists to equip and empower people to live out this calling.
Ressurection
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
